Topics

We plan a range of cross-curricular topics that are fun and engaging. Each term we create an overview of the topics and science that we will be covering which will be published on the school website. We find every opportunity to link trips, theme days, magical moments and homework projects to these topics which really help to get the children active and enthused in their learning. 

Roman Workshop
In November we enjoyed a visit from Amy from The Drama Hut. She led a ‘Roman Workshop’ with classes 3 & 4, where she became Queen Boudica – leader of the Celts and we went on a quest to discover the secrets of the Roman army. We used the shields that we had been making to recreate Roman Soldier Formations.
